Dameeli Coates is a curator, artist and researcher. She is a Wakka Wakka woman who grew up on Kaurna Yarta and lived and raised babies in the UK for twelve years. She is a mother, sister and aunty. She spent 20 years working as a Human Rights campaigner in Indigenous affairs. She has an Honours degree in Textile Design
